OK, here I am posting for the first time without the assistance of my professional blogger, our youngest daughter who is an author, speaker, teacher, wife, mother of two, etc. etc. etc. so she has a couple of other things to do besides guide me through this.
So, about me........My paintings are being featured for the month of June at the Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery in downtown Canandaigua. There are about 15 of my oils in the show, including the one I was working on in my profile shot. It's of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence.
If I'm getting the hang of this maybe I can go find another picture now( so the wife, teacher mother, author, etc. will be proud of what I learned to do on my own) . Actually, I have a live in teacher who really can do all this if I ask. He is also a devoted, intelligent , computer literate , husband and friend, without whose support I could not have done all the painting. Here goes......... Heh ! Didn't work, did it ? Oh well, picture later, when I figure it out.

My profile picture was taken in Tuscany while I painted the Ponte Vecchio from Michaelangelo's Square. We spent two weeks touring and painting around the rural areas . Beautiful scenery.........beautiful people. Bella Tuscany ! Here's one of my paintings from the trip. "Cortona"
Here it is...my first blog entry. It's going to be an adventure (especially after the kids who know how to use the computer leave to go home!). I'll be sharing some artwork along the way and will do my best!
